Join us on May 4 for a Zoom Call Featuring Anna Chambers on Postpartum Care
April 8, 2021
To All MoveUP Members
For one in six women, the adjustment to motherhood is difficult. Many suffer from crippling depression, anxiety, doubt, or guilt. With May 5 being World Maternal Mental Health Day, we want to provide you a safe forum to learn more about postpartum support.
Please join members of our Women’s Rights Committee and Anna Chambers of the Pacific Postpartum Support Society on Tuesday, May 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for a special Zoom event.
During this evening there will be a presentation followed by a discussion for parents and parents-to-be to learn more about postpartum adjustment, self-care, support, and resources to help during this often difficult time.
Becoming a parent does not always go the way we planned. What should be one of the happiest times of our lives can be a struggle. While some mothers seem in control, some may feel as if they are falling apart. This session will be a safe place for our MoveUP parents to share their stories, challenges and build support connections.
