Important notice from Fraser Health on COVID-19 vaccinations

To: MoveUP Members in the Fraser Health Region
Fraser Health has asked for the assistance of unions to forward information about their COVID-19 immunization plan to all our members and to remind all members to register on the province’s Get Vaccinated website if you have not yet already done so.
Additionally, at this current time, Fraser Health has invited those aged 18 or older in certain professions to book their vaccine appointment immediately. For our members, that includes transit staff and some childcare staff. If you are part of this priority rollout, you would have received notice from your employer.

By this weekend, all individuals aged 18 or above across the province will have the ability to book a vaccine appointment.
The Fraser Health region continues to have the highest number of COVID-19 infections. From April 26 to May 13, sixteen workplaces have been closed for 10 days because of COVID-19. You can find a list of existing workplace closures here.
We encourage all our members to book their vaccine appointment as soon as possible and to continue to follow public health guidelines to keep yourself, your families, and everyone around you safe.
