ICBC – Vehicle Settlement Representative Update

To: All Vehicle Settlement Representatives at ICBC
Soon after our August 29th call to discuss with you ICBC’s intention of eliminating the VSR position, we relayed the concerns you raised to the Corporation. Since that time, we have followed up on several occasions for a response from the business. To date, we have received no substantive response from ICBC regarding the direction the Corporation wishes to take on this matter, nor have we received any response to the specific concerns you raised to us on August 29th. To be clear, there has been no progress on reaching any agreement that addresses our shared concerns, nor has their been any update on the direction the Corporation wishes to take.
It is unfortunate that your Employer has not responded in a more timely manner to such a serious matter, and that in the meantime, we are left to worry about possible outcomes.
Rest assured that we will communicate any updates we receive from ICBC when we receive them.
