IBEW 213 Group of Companies – Join our committee to review job descriptions and categories!

To: All MoveUP Members at IBEW 213, IBEWWP, IBEWJT
We are looking for members who are interested in helping us review job descriptions and categories at your workplace!
During our 2022 bargaining, in conjunction with the IBEW 213 group of employers, we agreed to establish a Joint Review Committee to discuss revisions, updates, and housekeeping changes to the job descriptions and job categories under Appendix B and Appendix C.
Our collective agreement allows us to appoint four (4) committee members, including at least one (1) per employer.
As a committee member, you will:
- Gather information, duties, and daily tasks from MoveUP members;
- Gather comparative data from other companies for similar roles;
- Make recommendations and work with the employer to update job descriptions;
- Act on behalf of members and meet with the employer, as required, to review changes to duties and/or responsibilities in existing jobs.
If you would like to join the committee, please email your Vice-President Christy Slusarenko at cslusarenko@moveuptogether.ca by end of day on Friday, July 3, 2026.
