Hastings Entertainment, Inc. – Bargaining Update #10

To all MoveUP members at Hastings Entertainment, Inc.:
Strike Pay
There are two strike pay funds available to members if they go on strike or are locked out.
- MoveUP Strike Fund:
The MoveUP strike fund pays $250.00 per week with an eight-day waiting period. In the instance of a lockout, the eight-day waiting period is waved.
- COPE National Strike Fund:
The National strike fund pays full time regular employees $240.00 per week with an eight-day waiting period. For part-time and casual employees, the $240.00 is prorated based on the amount of days/hours worked in a week.
Part-time employees: please bring (12) twelve consecutive weeks of recent pay stubs to the meeting to be provided to the Union. This is required in order to qualify for strike pay. If you get paid bi-weekly, please submit (6) six recent, consecutive pay stubs.
