FortisBC Inc. & FortisBC Energy Inc. “PROJECT ONE”

To: All MoveUP Members at FortisBC Inc & FortisBC Energy Inc.
A teleconference meeting took place on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 between the Union and representatives from FortisBC, where we were informed of a new company initiative called “Project One”.
We were informed that this initiative will involve the integration of the two SAP systems presently being used by FortisBC Inc. and FortisBC Energy Inc. We were also informed that not a lot of information was available at this time to share with us, but as things unfold, we would be informed and an invitation to discuss this project will be forthcoming.
Our initial concern upon hearing this was “what about the impact to our members in the respective bargaining units?” It was conveyed to us by the Company’s representatives, that they did not have a lot of information to share at this time but were confident that as more information became available, they would share it with us.
