To: All MoveUP Members at FBC-CSC in Prince George
This is a notice of interest for membership representation on the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee.
In accordance with Workers’ Compensation Act, Division 4, joint occupational health & safety (OH&S) meetings will take place every month to identify and make recommendations that correct unsafe and unhealthy environments.
Time spent on committee business is paid for by the employer. Committee members are entitled to eight (8) hours of paid education leave per year. Committee members will conduct worksite inspections and participate in any investigations or inquiries of the workplace.
David Black, President, MoveUP will make appointments of committee representatives, in accordance with the Constitution.
