FortisBC-CSC– Bargaining Update # 17

As a follow-up to our bulletin from July 12, 2023, we have received confirmation that the increased medical benefits your bargaining committee negotiated will  go into effect beginning August 1, 2023.

Article #21: Benefits

  • The new annual health spending account of $250.00 will be available for expenses incurred August 1, 2023, and onward.
  • The increase to paramedical practitioners to $1000 combined calendar year maximum will be in effect August 1, 2023.

Please note, as before, this coverage is subject to Manulife’s reasonable and customary limits.
