FortisBC – Contracting In Grievances

To: All MoveUP Members at FortisBC

We are writing to let you know that we have received and filed three (3) separate contracting in grievances on Monday, May 21, 2021, alleging the company’s improper usage of contractors.

We have received numerous accounts from members regarding the company’s usage of contractors to perform work that we assert is MoveUP bargaining unit work. The three (3) policy grievances were filed on behalf of MoveUP Drafters, Engineers and OSR2/OSR3’s.

We will proceed through the grievance process.
