FortisBC – Bargaining Update #11
April 26, 2024
To: All MoveUP members at FortisBC
I write to inform you that your bargaining committee met remotely with the employer for negotiations on April 24, 2024.
Having now dealt with nearly all outstanding non-monetary issues, during this session we laid out our full monetary proposal including our proposed improvements to leaves, benefit improvements, wage increases, and the duration of the new agreement.
We will meet for further negotiations next week, on April 29 and 30, and May 1. We look forward to hearing the employer’s response to our monetary proposal.
We will update you again following our next three days at the table.
