(EC Area 1230 are members employed at BC Hydro 100 Mile House, Dawson Creek DO, Fort Nelson FNG, Fort St John Community Consultation Office, GM Shrum Hudson Hope, Peace Canyon GS Hudson Hope, Quesnel DO/Store, Smithers DO, Terrace DO, Vanderhoof DO, Williams Lake DO, Williston Substation, Hudson Hope Transmission, Burns Lake DO, Valemount Sub-DO, Fort St John DO, Masset DO, Chetwynd TLO, WAC Bennett Dam Visitor Centre and Fort St. John Operations.)(EC # 1230 was vacant).

This is to inform you the result of the recent by-election to fill the vacant executive councillor position for areas 1230, the deadline for nominations  was 4:30 p.m. PT on Friday May 29, 2026.

  • Mike Gallagher has been elected by acclamation for EC Area #1230.
