Executive Board By-Election – Combined Miscellaneous Group

To: All MoveUP Members in the Combined-Miscellaneous Group
(The Combined-Miscellaneous group includes all members employed at the following bargaining units: AECON, Alma Mater Society, AMS Security, Berlitz Canada Inc, Capilano University, Construction Industry Rehab Plan – Non-Admin, Ecojustice, Hastings Entertainment, Kekinow Native Housing Society, Konica Minolta, Lake City Casino, Lu’Ma Native Housing Society, New Democratic Party, Teletheatre BC and Yellow Pages Group)
Term Ending: Fall 2018
Due to the resignation of Karl Riley and in accordance with Article 10.7(b) of the Constitution, we are conducting a by-election to fill the above noted position.
Please refer to Article 6 of the Constitution for details on the “Duties of Executive Board”.
A nomination form covering all of the requirements of the Constitution, which governs the nomination of an executive board member, is attached here. Nominations open Monday, September 11, 2017 and close at 4:30pm on Monday, September 25, 2017.
Nomination forms must be emailed to returningofficer@moveuptogether.ca or faxed, with original to follow, to 604-299-8211 by the deadline of 4:30pm on September 25, 2017.
