CUPE BC and Locals – Open Nominations for Bargaining Committee

To:All MoveUP Members at CUPE BC and Locals
MoveUP and CUPE BC and Locals collective agreement will expire on December 31, 2021. Please be aware the agreement will continue in full force until a new agreement is negotiated and ratified. Before this can happen, you must select your bargaining committee.
The bargaining committee will consist of two (2) members, comprised of one (1) EC and one (1) JS. Your union representative will also sit on the committee to lead negotiations.
We need your voices at the table and your input into the process, so if you are a job steward who would like to sit on the committee, or if you would like to nominate a job steward, a nomination form is attached here.
Please return by March 19, 2021. In the event that there are more nominations than positions available, an election will be held.
