CUPE BC and Locals – Membership Meeting to Elect a Bargaining Committee
January 2, 2018
To: All MoveUP Members at CUPEBC and Locals
We have re-evaluated our approach to the election process for the bargaining committee. We will no longer be going forward with the mail-in ballot process. Instead, we will conduct the election process via membership meeting. This will allow all members to be thoroughly informed of the individual skillsets and experience of each candidate, and to ensure all members present will be educated in the democratic rights and processes of our union.
The bargaining committee election meeting will be as follows:

To be clear, the mail-in ballots for this collection are now considered void. We will discard all ballots received at the office if you have already sent yours in.
You must participate in the meeting to vote for your bargaining committee. Make sure your voice is heard, it is important that you enact your democratic rights as a member of our union.
