Contested By-Election #1444 Vote Update

To: MoveUP Members in EC Area #1444
EC Area # 1444 represents members employed at BC Ferry & Marine Workers Union (Admin), CUPE BC, CUPE (Locals 23, 374, 379, 389, 454, 561, 718, 728, 873, 900, 1004, 2011, 3338, 3500 & 3523, 3742, 4879), and Teamsters (Locals 31, 155, 213 & 213 Member Benefit Plan).
Term Ending: April 30, 2020
In regards to the December 13, 2018 bulletin advising the above mentioned by-election is contested and going to a vote, there was an internal error at the union office, whereby the personal bio and photo was not published for one of the candidates on the Mail-in Ballot Instruction sheet.
We apologize for the error.
Please disregard the mail ballot package you will be receiving to your home address dated December 13. This by-election will be re-run at the beginning of January with the updated Candidate Bios.
