Combined Units – Vice-President By-Election Results

To: All MoveUP Job Stewards, Executive Councillors, and Distributors in the Combined Units (Please Post and/or Circulate)
Due to the resignation of Alicia Gallo as executive board member and vice-president, there was a vacancy for the position of vice-president for the Combined Units.
As stated in 10.7(c) of the constitution:
c) Vice-President:
i) The process in 10.7(b) shall occur first to replace the vacant Executive Board position.
ii) When the process contemplated in Article 10.7 b) has been completed, the members of the Executive Council for the unit will then elect a Vice-President from the Board members for the unit at the earliest possible scheduled meeting of the Executive Council.
The executive council meeting was held on Monday, February 26, 2018 and Christy Slusarenko was elected as the vice-president to represent members in the Combined Units.
