CLC/UWCC Post-Secondary Scholarship

The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) Young Workers Program and United Way Centraide Canada (UWCC) are pleased present the annual CLC/UWCC Post-Secondary Scholarship.
This scholarship, in the amount of $2,500, will support a young activist who is starting their first year of full-time post-secondary study at a Canadian public post-secondary institution in September 2018.
MoveUP is affiliated to the CLC and any current MoveUP member, or child/dependent of a member, that is 30-years-old or under as of September 1, 2018 may be eligible.
Applicants will be required to provide proof of acceptance or a statement of intention to study at a Canadian pubic post-secondary education institute as well as submit an essay that demonstrates labour/community involvement on the topic outlined in the application form.

The deadline for receipt of applications is June 1, 2018 and this year’s winner will be announced on June 29, 2018.
