CCIS – Tentative Agreement Reached
December 13, 2021
To: All MoveUP members at CCIS
Your union and the employer met for bargaining on November 30 and December 7 to 9. Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative collective agreement with the employer.
We will be holding a membership meeting on December 15, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., via Microsoft Teams. The link will be sent to your home email address under separate cover. Your bargaining team will review the tentative agreement with you and answer any questions you may have. Upon conclusion of this meeting, you will be able to vote on it through the Member Portal. In case that you have not signed up, please follow the instructions to register.
Some highlights of the tentative agreement are as follows:
- Wage increases:
- 2020: 2.50%
- 2021: 2.75%
- 2022: 2.50%
- 2023: 2.75%
- RRSP contribution increase from 11.25% to 11.50%
- Part Time Regular Employee’s statutory holiday pay increase from 4.8% to 5.2%
- Remote work plan for the employer’s selected positions
- Newly created Senior Insurance Representative, Level III
- Term of Agreement January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2023
