Canadian Freightways – Bargaining Update #8

To: All MoveUP members at Canadian Freightways Limited
Your bargaining committee met with the Employer for negotiations in Calgary on September 26 and 27, 2017. We are pleased to announce that we have reached a settlement for a new collective agreement of which we will be recommending acceptance to the membership. We are currently coordinating dates and locations in which to hold the meetings to vote the Memorandum of Agreement. We would like to complete this process by the end of October.
As soon as we have completed our travel arrangements and rooms have been booked for the meetings, we will send out a bulletin with the information on the ratification meetings. We look forward to meet with you soon.
