Black Top Cabs – Wicket Schedule

On August 19, 2021, your union learned that a new wicket schedule (reduced shifts) became effective as of August 15, 2021.  This new schedule was a violation of the collective agreement Article 17.03 which prohibits non-bargaining unit employees (i.e. managers) from doing bargaining unit work.

Your union contacted the employer about this matter immediately and through discussion we were able to remedy the situation.

After the discussion, the employer advised us that your wicket schedule will be back to how it was as of August 22^nd onwards. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your job steward or me.
