Black Top Cabs – Technology Changes

On Friday, March 25, 2022, the employer formally announced that they will be switching to Autocab in the coming months. Your union is taking appropriate steps to understand how this system will transform your work. A discussion between the parties is due in the first week of July 2022.

In our preliminary discussion with the employer,  the employer stated that in-depth training will be available to the bargaining unit, and there is no anticipated layoff as a result of this technology change.
