Bill 3 Passed – Entitlement to 3 hours of Paid Leave for COVID 19 Vaccinations

We are writing to let you know that Bill 3 has recently passed which amends the Employment Standards Act to provide for all full-time and part-time employees with up to three hours of paid leave to receive each of your COVID-19 vaccines.

This comes at a time where more and more British Columbians can get their COVID-19 vaccination.  The BC Government has identified that this paid leave is in effect retroactive to April 19, 2021.
