BCNU – Bargaining Update #1
June 7, 2023
To: All MoveUP members at BCNU
Your bargaining committee met with the employer at the bargaining table on multiple occasions over the past few months. There have been some scheduling conflicts between the committees as well as the ratification vote with the BCNU membership that has led to some delays. Our committee is anxious to get back to the table and we have dates scheduled for June 15, 2023 and June 16, 2023 and are attempting to book more dates in July.
In order to facilitate a further discussion and provide more of an update we have scheduled a general membership meeting for Friday, June 16, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at the BCNU office (Room 172). We will also be offering a virtual option via Zoom for our members to attend if you are unable to join in person.
If you will be attending this meeting in person, you need to register by June 14, 2023. Please email hbrommeland@moveuptogether.ca to RSVP. Pizza lunch will be provided.
