BCH – Site C health and safety update

To: All MoveUP members at BCH working at Site C
We were made aware on Tuesday afternoon by a MoveUP job steward that a building at Site C has been shut down due to potential occupational health & safety concerns related to air quality.
Since then, we have begun actively investigating and have been in contact with your employer to try and get as much information as possible to learn about the situation and to understand the impacts it may have on our members that work at Site C.
The health and safety of our members is our number one priority. As we receive more information, we will communicate that to you as soon as possible. We ask all of you to be vigilant and monitor updates as we have them for you. We also remind everyone to be cautious about potential misinformation that may be spread through unverified sources or rumours.
If you receive any information or directives regarding this situation from your employer and have any concerns related to health and safety, please let your job steward know and they will bring your concerns immediately to us.
