BCGEU – Bargaining Update #7

To: All MoveUP members at the BCGEU
The bargaining committee wishes to provide you with a bargaining update. After three days of bargaining with your employer this week, we have agreed on a multitude of proposals but have not been able to agree on our most important proposals. Therefore, we have reached an impasse with your employer and they have advised us that they will be applying for mediation with The Labour Relations Board.
We currently have two bargaining dates scheduled for the end of next week that we are hoping we will be able to use for mediation.
When we have more information, we will provide a further update.
