BCGEU – Appointment to the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee (JOHSC)

To: All MoveUP members at the BCGEU
The Union had sought an alternate member to join the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee (JOHSC), as per Article 22.2 in the collective agreement.
We are happy to announce that Ann Soucie has been declared the successful candidate. Ann will be joining Eddie Mishra, Jen Brown, and Danica Sladen as the alternate to the JOHSC.
The JOHSC Committee meets monthly. Please forward any concerns you may have to one of your committee members.
The purpose of the JOHSC is to promote occupational health and safety, protect workers and other persons present at workplaces from work-related risks to their health, safety and well-being. This includes both physical and psychological concerns.
