BCGEU – 72 Hour Strike Notice served

To: All MoveUP members at BCGEU

Due to the overwhelming rejection of the Employer’s final offer in the vote conducted by the Labour Relations Board, your Union has served the BCGEU with 72-hour strike notice. This notice was delivered to your employer and the Labour Relations Board today.

Your bargaining committee and job action committees met yesterday and have decided that we will begin job action with a one-half day walkout commencing at noon on Tuesday, November 9th. Further job action will be communicated to you and your Employer in the coming days.
