BCCNM-Bargaining Committee – Nominations Now Open

To: All MoveUP Members at BCCNM
As you may know your collective agreement will be expiring on December 31, 2023. Please be aware the agreement is in full force until a new agreement is negotiated and ratified.
We need stewards to participate on the bargaining committee. The bargaining committee will consist of two members. Pat La Vac is the sole steward we have in the bargaining unit, and will sit on the committee. We will have one (1) vacancy to fill on the committee. Your union representative will also sit on the committee to lead negotiations.
We will be conducting an election to fill the remaining position. Please submit your name to Kim Smith at ksmith@moveuptogether.ca by 4:30pm on Friday, June 16, 2023. In the event that there are more nominations than positions available, an election will be held.
If you are interested in becoming a steward and joining our bargaining committee, please contact Daniel Storms at dstorms@moveuptogether.ca or your Vice President Christy Slusarenko at cslusarenko@moveuptogether.ca at your earliest convenience so we can begin preparing for success at the table.
