BC Transit – Tentative Agreement Ratified!

To: All MoveUP members at BC Transit
Your bargaining committee is happy to announce that the tentative agreement reached with BC Transit has been ratified by the membership.
The ballots were verified on September 3, 2026, by the MoveUP returning officer.
The results are as follows:
Accept the proposed terms of settlement: 144
Reject the proposed terms of settlement: 10
Spoiled ballots: 0
Total ballots cast: 154
Your bargaining committee would like to extend our sincere thanks to membership for the support from the beginning to the end of this process. We believe the changes to our collective agreement will allow our union to grow and thrive at BC Transit.
Retro pay
As discussed in the Townhall meetings, we expect your retroactive payment to be made in early November. We will keep you updated with any new information as it becomes available.
We will now put our efforts into updating your collective agreement.
