BC Hydro & Powertech – Bargaining Update #17

To: MoveUP Members at BC Hydro & Powertech
Your bargaining committee met with the employer this week and worked late into the evening on Wednesday and Thursday to try to conclude bargaining. The parties were not able to reach a final agreement this week and have agreed to meet again on Monday, March 9, 2020.
As advised in our February 11, 2020 bulletin if the parties are unable to reach an agreement on March 9th, bargaining will be at an impasse in which case your committee will reach out to you to discuss our next steps.
