BC Hydro – JS, EC & Dist – Paper Copies of Union Bulletins

To: All Job Stewards, Councillors and Distributors at BC Hydro
In response to members requests for updated information regarding upcoming bargaining, the union approached the employer to request permission to send updates directly to our members work email addresses. The employer has refused our request and therefore we will be reverting back to paper copies for bulletins and will be sending them to our job stewards, councilors and distributors to post on bulletin boards and to place directly on our members desks in the areas they are responsible for.
The paper copies of these bulletins will be sent out to you shortly. The Union is requesting that you deliver the bulletins to all the members in your area. Therefore, if you are the job steward for Edmonds – 12 you would deliver the bulletins to all MoveUP members on your floor.
There may be areas where we do not have a job steward, councilor or distributor to distribute the bulletins, therefore the Union is identifying these areas, and where practical, will ask job stewards, councilors or distributors from other floors or areas to deliver the bulletins for the union.
