BC Hydro – Customer Care – Scheduling 2022 Annual Vacation Days

To: All MoveUP members at BCH Hydro CCBO and BCH Job Stewards
This bulletin is to provide information and clarity around the 2022 customer care annual vacation selection.
Workforce Planning is expected to begin the first round of the 2022 annual vacation selection on October 1, 2021.
If there is a reason you will not be at work or able to access the BCH email during this selection period, please reach out to your manager for clarification on how to proceed.
For members who choose to take their vacation in broken periods per Article 14.06 and do not, or are unable to select their full allotment; you are entitled to select in order of seniority additional vacation periods until all your annual vacation entitlements have been chosen.
Members may request to re-schedule these vacation days with approval from their manager and subject to operational requirements.
Banked vacation entitlements do not apply and are considered ad hoc requests.
