BC College of Nurses and Midwives-Bargaining Update #1

Your bargaining committee met with the employer to start collective bargaining at the BCCNM Offices in Vancouver on November 7 and November 14, 2023.

The parties have discussed and tabled all items including monetary proposals. The parties have signed off several non-monetary proposals, including improved process language and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Collective bargaining will reconvene on December 11, 2023, and we are cautiously optimistic we may be able to conclude collective bargaining in December, if we can reach agreement on wage increases.
