BC Civil Liberties Association – Upcoming Wage Increase

To: All MoveUP members at BC Civil Liberties Association
We have received notice from the Executive Director of an upcoming wage increase to all MoveUP members at BCCLA.
On July 21, 2023, the Executive Committee voted in favour of raising all salaries at BCCLA by 6%. The Employer notified us that the wage increase would be retroactive to August 1st, 2023.
Though this wage increase is separate from our upcoming negotiations (currently scheduled for late September), we feel this increase will be beneficial to providing immediate support for the BCCLA employees who are no doubt feeling the impact of inflationary pressures.
