Alma Mater Society – Bargaining Update #2

To: All MoveUP members at Alma Mater Society
Your bargaining committee and the employer met on February 15 and 16 to negotiate a new collective agreement.
We are pleased to report that we are now in the process of discussing our monetary proposals and have reached agreement with the Company on a variety of non-monetary proposals.
We were looking forward to continuing our discussions with the company; however the company has failed to make themselves available until May. Your committee has offered to incorporate weekends in an effort to resume bargaining with no response from the company. At present, there are no scheduled dates going forward.
We will keep you apprised of any scheduled dates and progress. We ask for your continued support and solidarity.
