(EC areas #1234 & #1235 are members employed at BC Hydro Campbell River DO, Courtenay DO, John Hart GS Campbell River, Nanaimo DO, Powell River DO, Port Alberni DO, Qualicum DO, Sechelt DO, Campbell River Ironwood DO, Nanaimo-Construction Svc and Port Hardy DO).

Term Ending: April 30, 2029

This is to inform you that as a result of the recent election to fill the vacant executive councillor positions for areas #1234 & #1235, the deadline for electronic balloting was 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Balloting results were verified by the undersigned.

  • Sharon Thomas has been elected for EC Area # 1234
  • Zach O’Brien has been elected for EC Area # 1235
