2018 Lunar New Year Parade

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
MoveUP will be marching in the 2018 Lunar New Year Parade taking place in Vancouver’s Chinatown on Sunday, February 18 and we would like to invite interested members and their families to join us on this fun-filled morning celebrating the beginning of the new year on the lunar calendar which is observed by many countries including China, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.
To march in the parade with MoveUP, you must be able to commit from approximately 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on parade day. Please be prepared for all possible weather conditions.
Due to area constraints, we can only accommodate up to 50 volunteer marchers on a first come, first serve basis.
If you and your family would like to march with us, please fill out the online registration form. The deadline to register is Friday, January 26.
Additional information will be sent to those who register following the registration deadline. We hope to see you out on February 18!
