Richmond Taxi Contracting Out Grievance & Bargaining Update

To: MoveUP Members at Richmond Taxi
We are writing to you today to provide an update on the status of the Contracting Out Grievance we filed against Richmond Taxi on October 31, 2022.
A hearing has been scheduled to occur on January 20, 23 and 24, 2023. We have retained legal counsel to support us on this matter and we are committed to fighting for your job security and negotiated rights.
In addition, we are scheduled to commence bargaining with your employer on January 18 and 19, 2023. Oldrich Klos has joined Johnny Jordan on the bargaining committee, and Sara Colliss, Union Representative will be lead negotiator, with support from Union Representative Andrew Cheverie.
