W.A.V.A.W.-RCC – Bargaining Update #6

To: All MoveUP Members at W.A.V.A.W.-RCC
We hope that this bulletin finds you all well, given these unique circumstances that the COVID 19 pandemic has brought our way. We are wanting to give you an update on WAVAW bargaining, as it has been a different experience conducted virtually, rather than in person.
That said, the parties first met on June 24, 2021, where we each tabled our respective proposals. We subsequently met through the month of July and through the beginning of August.
As of today’s date, the parties have concluded with the non-monetary proposals and will be meeting on September 21 and 23 to begin our monetary discussions.
