Bargaining Dates in First Two Weeks of May 2021
We are writing to let you know that your union and the employer are now looking at setting some bargaining dates in the first two weeks of May 2021. Unfortunately, an unforeseen circumstance has lent to a delay in the employer and your union meeting before April 31, 2021.
Please note that your collective agreement is still in full force and effect until such time as a new collective agreement is reached between the parties. This is often known as a “continuation clause”, and this provides for the protection of your rights and entitlements even though your collective agreement has expired.
We will update you with the new agreed-to-dates once we are provided notice of the employer being ready to go.
