Alma Mater Society – Bargaining Committee Election – Nominations Open

To: All MoveUP members at Alma Mater Society
Further to our March 5, 2021 bulletin, the MoveUP and AMS collective agreement will expire on May 31, 2021. Please be aware the agreement will continue in full force until a new agreement is negotiated and ratified. Before this can happen, you must elect your bargaining committee.
The bargaining committee consists of two MoveUP AMS employees that you elect to represent you at the bargaining table. Your union representative will also sit on the committee to lead negotiations.
We need your voices at the table and your input into the process. If you would like to sit on the committee, or if you would like to nominate one of your co-workers, please step forward.
A nomination form is attached. Please return by 4:00 pm, Friday, March 26, 2021. In the event that there are more nominations than positions available, an election will be held.
