CapilanoU – Bargaining Update and Membership Meeting – Thursday, July 18, 2019

The bargaining committee met for preparation on February 27, 28, March 1, May 23, 28, June 12, 18 and 19. The committee has reviewed the employer’s financial disclosure, the membership survey results and memorandums of settlement of other public sector employers who have already completed bargaining.
The bargaining committee has developed a comprehensive set of proposals, and has tentatively scheduled exchange and negotiations with the employer for August 28, 29 and 30. We are in the process of booking additional dates.
We will be holding a meeting off site to discuss expectations of bargaining. The meeting details are below :
