To: All MoveUP Members at CIATU
Since our initial update, we have met four times with your employer (Sept. 14; Oct. 16, 22 & 26). Our negotiations have focused on non-monetary items so far, and we are happy to report that several proposals have already been signed off on by both sides.
We are scheduled to return to the bargaining table on November 3 and 6.
While progress has been steady but incremental, we are committed to securing the best possible deal for you. You deserve a good deal, not just a quick deal, and we appreciate the messages of support and encouragement that you have sent to us.
We will provide a more detailed update on bargaining at an online membership meeting in the coming weeks. Meeting details will follow.
