CapU – HOP Announcement #3 – Share Your Experience

To: All MoveUP members at CapilanoU
We are asking members to complete a survey about their Hybrid Office Program (HOP) arrangements and the impacts of increased on-campus attendance.
At the time of our last bulletin, the University assured the Union that the three-day on-campus expectation would not be applied as a blanket requirement. Applications were to be assessed based on the specific needs of the department and position, operational requirements, and individual circumstances.
We need to hear from you about whether the Employer has kept good on their assurances.
Please complete the survey (to be sent to your home email address).
We encourage members to participate whether your requested arrangement was actioned or is still awaiting a decision. If your arrangement has been denied or reduced, please contact a job steward for assistance with the available exception and appeal processes. Completing the survey does not initiate an exception request or appeal or extend any applicable timelines.
