ICBC – Wage Increases Missing from Today’s Pay – Unacceptable Error by ICBC Payroll

Dear friends and colleagues,
We are aware that today’s pay cheque failed to reflect the wage increases negotiated under our recently ratified collective agreement.
To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We know your frustrations—our phones have not stopped ringing, and the emails keep coming. Following the ratification of our collective agreement on September 11, 2026, the employer committed that the base pay increases would take effect on the next pay period. That was today!
They screwed up, and this error is completely unacceptable.
Please know that we are already deep into this issue this morning. We are meeting directly with the employer at 1:30 p.m. today to demand answers, hold them accountable, and ensure this mistake is rectified.
We will provide a further update to membership as soon as we come out of our meeting this afternoon.
