In preparation for bargaining to renew your collective agreement, we are pleased to inform you that Rysa Kronebusch, Vice President, Utilities has appointed the following members on your bargaining committee:
- Norm Stickelmann, Executive Board Member
- Myra McIntosh, Executive Councilor
- Steven Lofgren, Executive Councilor
- Andrea Parsons, Executive Councilor
- Helen Bobbitt, Executive Councilor
Thank you, Norm, Myra, Steven, Andrea, and Helen, for stepping forward to build and improve on your current agreement.
Presently there are no bargaining dates confirmed, but the company and the union are jointly seeking to begin negotiations in January 2027, with an aim to conclude bargaining prior to the expiry of the current agreement.
Our next step will be to draft a survey that will be sent to all the members of the bargaining unit. We strongly urge you to watch for this survey and participate in it as soon as you receive it. It will be crucial that we hear from you so that we can accurately and forcefully represent your interests and priorities during negotiations.
The survey will be prepared by the committee and sent to your personal email addresses in the near future.
If you haven’t done so already, please ensure that you have signed up via the MoveUP member portal. This will ensure that you are kept involved in the bargaining process including getting surveys and bargaining updates, and that you will be able to cast your vote once we are ready to ratify the new agreement. Your participation in this process will be key to its success.
