BEEM – Important Arbitration Update: Hearing Concluded, Awaiting the Decision

To: All MoveUP members at BEEM Credit Union
Dear BEEM Credit Union Members,
After filing our policy grievance in April 2025, I can now confirm that the arbitration hearings held on August 10 and 14 of this year have concluded. Our written submissions to the arbitrator have also been completed. We are now waiting for the arbitrator to review everything that has been put forward and issue a decision.
I feel confident in the case we presented, and in the arguments and evidence we put forward on behalf of our members. We have worked hard throughout this process to ensure our position is clearly presented and that the rights of our members are protected. We remain committed to holding BEEM Credit Union accountable and ensuring that the Collective Agreement is respected.
I also want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has been involved in this process, including our legal counsel and union representatives. Most importantly, I want to thank our Member Hub members for their continued support, patience, and trust throughout this lengthy process. Your support has helped us bring this matter forward and see it through to arbitration.
We will provide an update to members as soon as we receive the arbitrator’s decision. Until then, I want to assure you that we remain confident in what we have put forward and will continue to stand up for our members and their rights.
