BC Transit – Bargaining Update #6
June 19, 2026
To: All MoveUP members at BC Transit
Your bargaining committee met with your employer from June 9-11 and made further progress.
We remain focused on outstanding monetary items, and we are confident that progress will continue.
We are meeting with your employer from July 13-15 to continue the process and will keep you updated on the progress we are making.
We appreciate your continued patience. Please know that we are committed to bringing you the best possible deal as soon as possible.
We are fully aware that Unifor 333 conducted a successful strike vote and could be in a legal position to commence job action with 72 hours notice. We are confident that both your employer and Unifor will communicate with us should the situation escalate and we will relay details about an action plan as needed.
If you have any questions about bargaining, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the committee.
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee:
Tiffany Rivers, Executive Councillor
Glen Redden, Executive Councillor
Andrew Cheverie, Union Representative
