Tree Island Bargaining Update #5

To: All MoveUP Members at Tree Island Industries
Your bargaining committee met with the employer on Wednesday, June 10, to continue discussions on monetary proposals. Some progress was made, with compromise on both sides; however, there is still a gap between the parties. Further bargaining is scheduled for Monday, June 15.
Your vice-president, Christy Slusarenko, and your union representative, Chris Shier, will be on site today, June 11 ahead of the membership meeting, which will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. We invite you to join us in the administration lunchroom for pizza and a more detailed update on the current state of bargaining.
