FortisBC – LOU# 45 Remote Work Trial Program – Update #8

To: All MoveUP Members at FortisBC Inc and FortisBC Energy Inc
With the 1-year Remote Work Trial Program concluding at the end of May, your Remote Work Committee wanted to provide an update on what to expect next.
After the program completes on May 31, 2026, the employer will be preparing reports and recommendations to the various directors and stakeholders at FortisBC.
We will await the employer’s report with their final recommendations and results and share it with you once we have received it. We anticipate we will have it by June 6, 2026.
The Remote Work Trial Program (LOU#45) that was negotiated during our last round of bargaining can be found here.
Please keep an eye out for our next update on remote work in early June 2026.
